THE PROJECT GOALS

  • The “Lawyer Look”

The site has a conservative and professional feel to it. Our designers have taken special care to make the site look and feel like an actual law firm. From the conservative blue colour of the site to the design of the fonts, buttons and logos, we’ve ensured that every element on the site contributes to a thoroughly professional “lawyer look”.

  • Modern Responsive design

Today, the world of technology has moved on from laptops and desktops onto tablets and smartphones. Hence, we’ve designed Avogadoo to adapt to any device that it is being accessed on. The site is fully responsive and provides a consistently straightforward, clean interface regardless of the user’s device.

  • User Friendly

In order to make Advogadoo easy to use, the web application had to be clean, simple, and very use-friendly. We think you will find these points achieved by the design.

The Challenges

The site needed an appropriate “lawyer look”, and had to be fully responsive. Finally, we needed to build a sturdy notification and subscription system.

THE SOLUTIONS

The backend receive offers system was meticulously tested several times by our professionals before the deployment of the website. Our designers came up with creative ways to give every element of the site a conservative “lawyer look” – from the professional-looking shade of blue used on the site, to the design of the buttons and logos. Last but not least, we built a robust automatic email notification system and an easy subscription mechanism.

THE RESULT

Advogadoo is now up and running. The system has been deployed in Portugal and is working like a charm. The site is completely responsive across all platforms.

Technology Used in the Project

We used WordPress to handle the basic design and content management of the site. Then, we coded each component of the web application, the notification modules, and the subscription mechanisms. After plenty of testing, tweaking and re-testing, the site was finally ready.

  • Responsive/Bootstrap

Here at Codewing, whenever we think of designing a responsive and good-lookingwebsite, Bootstrap has been our weapon of choice. Thanks to Bootstrap, we were able to give Advogadoo a sleek, responsive design that looks great on any device – be it a laptop, tablet or smartphone.

  • Analytics

We used Google Analytics to track activities of users on Advogadoo. This tool allows the admins of the site to monitor various statistics about the traffic coming in. Consequently, they can decide future business models based on these numbers and graphs.

  • WordPress

At Codewing, we use WordPress whenever possible. First and foremost, it’s a very robust and user-friendly Content Management System that is extremely popular and constantly evolving. Moreover, it is fantastically SEO-friendly as well. What more could one ask from a CMS?
